WIDC ALUMNAE AWARD

In partnership with Creative Women Workshops, Toronto's @Wallace Studios has created an opportunity for WIDC Alumnae to shoot their film and television projects in their choice of three state-of-the-art studio facilities (subject to availability).  An in kind prize valued at $10,000 plus a one-year subscription to mymediabiz.com.

2006
Leslie Ann Coles was awarded the prize for a teaser for her series VARIETY STORE.  The prize was announced during the 2006 Banff World Television Festival and presented to Leslie Ann at the WIDC 10th Anniversary Reception held at @Wallace Studios August 3rd.


2005
Co-winners, Annie Bradley (for her short FRAN, A TABLE AND A GUN) and Sarah Michelle Brown (for her sci-fi short MOCHA LATTE) were announced at the Annual Launch Event during the 2005 Banff World Television Festival and was presented at the WIDC Summer Reception July 28th at @Wallace Studios.

2004
Co-winners, Patricia Harris Seeley (for her sci-fi short, THE CONSORT) and Mieko Ouchi (for her short film, ASSEMBLY) were announced at the WIDC Annual Launch Event held in conjunction with WIFTI & WIFTA Martini Madness at the 2004 BWTVF.

2003
The first winner of this prize, Veronica Tennant was presented the award for her one-hour film SHADOW PLEASURES written and narrated by Michael Ondaajte.
